We encourage employees to point out issues and propose plans for improvement as part of their daily work. Each employee thinks the issues through, up to the advantages the new methods bring, and awards are given out each year.
We select young employees to lead year-long initiatives with a common theme of manufacturing cost reduction and present the results. This has been one of our company’s regular events for over ten years.
In an initiative designed to lead to future design and development, teams of five can choose a common theme or a free project to adopt universal design principles and present their project in a competition format once a year. It offers a perfect opportunity to showcase skills and ideas that are not usually expressed in everyday work.
